Free Internet @ Svene Gjestegård

Svene Gjestegård is able to offer you free wireless Internet access in our hotel. Guests with laptop or palmtop with support for wireless network will find that there is a Wi-Fi network in our hotel named “SveneG Guest” when they try to access the Internet.

Security

The wireless network doesn’t have protection (firewall or VPN) against the Internet and there’s no filter to block dangerous files. The Wi-Fi net is separated from Svene Gjestegård internal network and Svene Gjestegård IT services are not responsible for antivirus or other protection against security threats that may occur with communication over the Internet. Those who use the Wi-Fi net (SveneG Guest account), do so at own risk.

You are fully responsible for the content of your Internet traffic. You are prohibited from posting or transmitting to or from our internet access:

• any unlawful, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, or other material or content that would violate rights of publicity and/or privacy or that would violate any law
• any material or content that infringes, misappropriates or violates any copyright, trademark, patent right or other proprietary right of any third party You shall be solely liable for any damages resulting from any violation of the foregoing restrictions, or any other harm resulting from your posting of content to Internet.

Network coverage

Service is available in the hotel lobby area, on the terrace, in our restaurant, on the second floor and in every room. You can also use public surf station located in the Fireplace lobby.
